Dr Amrit Takhar BSc MSc MB ChB DCH DRCOG MRCGP

He has been a General Practitioner for 26 years and trained at medical school in Birmingham. After completing GP training he gained a distinction in the Membership exam of the Royal College of GPs. He has been a trainer for 20 years and is an active researcher. He has taught on numerous workshops around the UK , most recently on Good Clinical Practice in Research. He has always had a special interest in skin conditions and introduced a telemedicine link with local specialists in 1995. He has been undertakling minor surgical procedures for 25 years.

Dr Amrit Takhar has received specialist training in the use and administration of all products and treatments offered .

Cosmetic Medicine is a rapidly advancing speciality and new treatments and procedures are constantly being developed creating a whole plethora which come under the term “Medical Beauty Treatments”. He researches all procedures before introducing them in the clinic and ensures that the treatment for each client is appropriate and carried out in the safest and most effective manner.

The treatments are carried out in a professional medical environment with support staff. The Wansford Health complex has eight consulting rooms and three treatment rooms.The premises are fully approved and were graded as one of the top GP premises in Northamptonshire.
